A dramatically lit and balmy solstice afternoon, perfect for pitching colorful wooden balls around a huge patch of ground.

First, our players. Yellow. Sporting the safari style - dashing in a bow tie and bermuda shorts. Special red pen with pop up statistics on military spending for conversational oomph.

Yellow's sensible, yet stylish footwear generated much spirited conversation.

Chair and legs.

Red - so elegant, so poised. Strange: the gleam coming off Red's ball makes it look just like a gigantic pearl!!

The rhinestone encrusted vamps of Red's sporting sandals say everything about her simple elegance.

But one cannot allow such dazzling glamor to make the other players feel inadequate, so Red makes the lady-like gesture of demurely covering her sparkling toes.
