Time for a fire, and because I love a theme, the theme for this one is Generosity with a capital G.

Last week, Dave brought me a treasure to burn - a lovely hand made wooden bird house that his stepdad had fashioned some years ago and had recently tossed on the trash heap. Dave being a sensible and generous man, fetched it to me so we could burn it up in a conflagration. I installed the Generosity collage I made beneath the small peaked roof and surrounded it with gorgeous fall foliage.

It was such a beautiful little fire!

Add a few fire bricks and voila!

Bonus detail: check out the tongue of blue flame in the dark area to the left of the bricks. Beautiful.

Stephanie did some methanol painting and turned out to be a natural at creating big fat beautiful vortexes. We oohed and aahed quite a bit at her handiwork.

Treg and Kat helped out with the painting as well. I really enjoy watching people develop their own style as they play with the fuel.
